Straight Metal Dent Repair Inc. was founded right here in Colorado in 2014. Owner Seth Price maintains relationships with several body shops and PDR retail locations along the front range, neighboring states, and regional locations. Instead of a brick-and-mortar facility, Seth and his team operate in a vast network of shops and locations to repair vehicles for customers nationwide.
Seth is an ARC Certified Master Hail Repair Technicians who is quality-oriented, extremely knowledgeable about the insurance claims process, and takes his time to make sure that his client’s vehicles are repaired to the highest possible standard. In 2018, he became the youngest ever ARC certified master hail repair technician at the age of 25 but started learning the paintless dent repair (PDR) trade long before being officially trained and certified in 2012.
Hail repair runs in the family. Tom Price, Seth’s dad, was trained by the original founder of Dent Wizard and has produced the most popular PDR training videos in the history of the industry. As early as age 11, Seth aided his dad and brother in their repair business and supported his father as he rose to the top of the industry.
Because he was raised in the world of PDR, Seth not only has the advantage of attending dozens of his dad’s training classes, but has also had the privilege to teach several classes as well. He hosts regular training seminars in Johnstown, CO and his students continue on to earn awards such as first place in the “New Technicians” competition.

Not only does Seth have an extensive network of body shop professionals, his familial contacts are well known in the industry for both their skills and vast knowledge of hail repair. Tom Price’s estimating guides are required watching to become a field adjuster for State Farm and other insurance companies. Additionally, Seth’s dad founded the Dent Olympics in 2001, an industry-wide international competition that takes place in Orlando every year at the Mobile Tech Expo. And was awarded the first ever lifetime achievement award for the industry in 2019
Seth lives in Berthoud, Colorado with his wife and daughter. Whether at a local body shop here in Colorado or at the park with his wife and young daughter, Seth will always take time to help you with anything he can.
